A case of delusion. Perhaps mine...

What is paranoia?
It is said to theoretically mean "extreme, irrational distrust of others." The other definition stated is simply the consequential step from overdosing on paranoia that gets you warded.
But in real-life, it could very well be a person's lack of faith in him/herself, as much as he/she would like to deny. The unwillingness to release the reins on things reeks of a control freak.
It is perhaps the lack of self-control in one's life that gets one spiralling down the road of attempting to control itsy-bitsy components of another person's life.
Going just slightly off the tangent here, i am aware that self-mutilation is a desperate cry for help or attention.
But by the way, all you psych majors out there, may i ask you, exactly WHAT does acting like a control freak scream out for?
And yet, including a psychological one, there is no single answer for that...............
Just like self-mutilation could very well be driven by purely masochistic urges. :o)
