A simple game of chess is really a peephole into the other party's capacity for strategizing; and perhaps more. Such a mind equipped with this would probably stand a better chance in facing the obstacles in the game of life. Strategizing in the game of chess is akin to being prepared in life. Luck is perhaps a poor man's excuse for not being prepared. In a chess game,looking too hard may bring other possibilities into obscurity. Likewise,in the game of life,one has to be prepared as well as open to change. The balance between adaptability and premeditation has to be fine-tuned in one's bid to survive.
